When a supply pipe is old, leaking in several places or made of lead, replacing it is often the best long-term solution. We replace underground water supply pipes from the property boundary all the way to the building, and we take care of both the external and the associated internal works.
What's included
- Replacement of old or deteriorating supply pipes
- New MDPE water supply installations
- Replacement of leaking underground pipework
- New points of entry into properties
- Installation of internal stop valves
- Connection to existing internal pipework
- Flushing and testing on completion
Inside and out, one contractor
Replacing a supply pipe isn't just about the pipe in the ground. The new pipe has to enter the building, be fitted with a stop valve and be connected to your existing plumbing. We handle the whole job, so you don't need to arrange a separate plumber for the internal connection.
Less digging with hydraulic moling
Where ground conditions allow, we can install the new pipe using hydraulic moling rather than digging a trench along its whole length. This can mean far less disruption to driveways, paths and lawns. Where trenching is needed, we reinstate the ground neatly.
New water supply installations
Planning a new water supply, for example for an extension, an outbuilding, a separated supply or a new connection? We can survey your property and provide a quotation for installing a new underground supply pipe, and help you understand what's needed from your water supplier.
Replacing a lead supply pipe?
Lead pipes are among the most common replacements we carry out. See our lead pipe replacement page for information on who's responsible and what support may be available.
